How does wow starter edition work

Says I cant trade with starter edition accounts. Just saying how it can be lifted in 72 hours doesnt explain why they got it in the first place.

I was on a hiatus from playing the game until Classic came out, but as soon as I purchased my 1 month subscription, it put me on starter edition as well. I would like to know why this happened, rather than how to get rid of it since it seems like its impossible to get rid of.

Realm Status. Recruit A Friend. Content Update Notes. Mythic Raid Hall of Fame. Mythic Keystone Dungeon Leaderboards. PvP Leaderboards. Schedule and Standings. Hall of Fame. Inside the World Championship. Inside the Mythic Dungeon International. New to WoW. What about veteran accounts?

Can they choose starting zone and access Chromie time if they fulfill the requirements? Any Real ID or Battle. I agree, why isn't this just functioning normally? I can see this being one of those pet peeves that will ultimately cause people to be turned off by the game. I'm surprised they kept the lvl20 cap with the squish but at the same time I always wanted blizz to extend it at least to lvl40 or 60 so I guess it's fair now.

Also, being limited to gold is very good imo for a starter account, 10 gold felt sooooo little haha. Previously, a starter account could bank up to 10 levels of xp which would be converted to actual character levels if the account went fully active. With the level squish, any banked xp appears to have been lost.

I hope Blizzard never does this. We already have gold spam despite requiring a sub to login. BFA already has free starter up to level No, I had a sub for Legion. Starter Edition for Classic?
